Cookin Soul “1:00 A.M. and Rising” album coming soon!

So late last year, we reached out to Eskay about doing a mixtape/album/EP type of thing with all original beats and lyrics. So what took so long? Well, honestly, most of the joints were done months ago, but the planets weren’t properly aligned, so we had to let it marinate.
But now, we proud to present to you the first leak off Cookin Soul & Nah Right’s “1:00 A.M. And Rising”.
The title is obviously a play on the title of De La Soul’s classic debut, but that’s pretty much where the similarities end. Our project consists of 12 cuts, one to correspond with each hour on the clock. I guess you can say it’s a nod to the late night grind that has become the standard MO for so many of us midnight marauders.
